motherly instinct

Not pregnancy related.

Ok I'm only 14 weeks pregnant, but i already love my baby more than life. I already am doing anything and everything to make sure he or she is ok and growing properly and will have a safe and stable home. I'm turning 20.
My brother is a senior in high school graduating in a few days and we were at his awards night. After it was over we were dropping his girlfriend off at her place, and i saw one of our mutual friends. She had a whole bunch of stuff with her walking out and crying. I got out of the car and went after her.
She told me me her step dad told her she wasn't wanted. That they didn't want get in their home and to just leave. Hey mom couldn't do anything but just watch her walk out the door.
It just broke my heart. And all i could do is hold her and try not to cry. I asked her where she was going. She said she was going and talking to her sisters boyfriend to get a ride to her place. And then her boyfriend was going to pick her up but she didn't know where she was going to stay.. I told her

Some people shouldn't be parents... as horrible as it is to say it's true... just tell her that this will just make her stronger and to keep her head up :) good luck..

That she could stay with me and my family. That she was more than welcome, to give me a call and we would pick her up.
That was last night and I've heard nothing..I'm so worried. I should have just asked her to come with us. So I'd know she was safe.
How could anyone do this to their child.... I just don't understand..
