mucus plug but not dilated?
I am 41 weeks pregnant on monday 27th april and i have to get induced on monday. My cervix has not dilated one bit and im -3 as of yesterday, but this morning when i woke up, i noticed a thick little White discharge with some brown/blood in it... it wasnt alot just a small little glob. Can your mucus plug start to come out when you arent even dilated? Should i go to the hospital or just wait it out? Im having no contractions that i know of.... im a first time mommy so im a little confused.
I would just wait it out.
if you're not having any contractions then I doubt they will admit you.
hang tight, baby must be comfy in there. And due dates are just estimates. They can be off by 2+ wks sometimes.

Yes you can lose your plug without being dilated. Im in the same situation almost as you just 40 weeks and I've had contractions but won't dilate.
