I was given pitocin through Iv. It took about a hour for labor to start. They had monitors on me. Contractions were a lot closer together and more intense. Checked me and I was at 3. Asked if I wanted the epidural. I said yes. Then recommended if I was getting epidural to wait the 15 mins for it and not take the Iv pain meds if I could because it was better for baby. So I agreed. Well while I was waiting for the epidural I went from 3 to 10 within 15 mins. They kept telling me not to push until dr got back in room but my body was pushing automaticly. I had no control lol. So when dr got in I pushed once and baby came. It was all incredibly fast. No pain meds at all. And with this one I am going to aim to do no meds again.

I was induced at 36 weeks n I was already opened to 3cm thy gave me pitocin thru iv n thy monitored the contractions n I went to the hospital at 6 pm around 11 or 12 pm I was opened to 6 got the epidural so I just felt tightening in my stomach n at 3 40 I was open  to 10cm started pushing n had my son at 3 49. In less then 9 hours I had my son. So I guess everyones different with inductions mine was easy n fast.

I was scheduled on a Tuesday night. When I got there I was also already having cntractions but the werent strong enough so I wasn't feeling them. They gave me a pill and put it by my cervix to ripen it. After that I finally opened to a 2. Then they gave me pitocin and that didn't help me much.. they took me off of it to give another pill but my contractions wouldn't space out enough. So they put me back on pitocin and I onoy got to a four. So the scheduled me for a c section. I had already signed everuthing, I wasn't on pitocin anymore and by that time I had already been in labor for 28 hrs. Well an hr later they went backbto take me to surgery but the checked my cervix and I was at a 7 without the pitocin. So they just broke my water there and that made the contractions worse so I got stadol. I still felt the contractions but it made me loopy.. my contractions were coming every 2 minutes but it felt like they were 10 minutes apart. I would fall asleep in between them lol. then I got the urge to push but I was considered at a 9 because a piece of the cervical cap was still there. They didn't want me to push because my baby's head woild rip it. So they had me there trying not to push. That was the worst part of the whole experience.  But once they let me push, she was out In 3 pushes.

I was induced 11 days early because of high blood pressure. Wasn't contracting at all but I was 1 cm dialated. I was in labor for 18 hours. My contractions were pretty intense so I got the epidural at 5cm. It wore off over an hour before it was time to push. I felt everythinggg. I was also cut so I felt the stitches as well. This time, if I'm induced again, I'm going to try to hold off on the epidural until about 7 or 8 cm.

I went in to be induced 10 days past my due date, I was already dilated to a 2 when I got to the hospital. They put something called cervadil in my cervix to ripen it. It wasn't supposed to put me in labor but it did, my contractions started up about 4 hours later. I was in labor about 28 hours from the start of contractions. They broke my water after I got an epidural and things progressed quicker. It wasn't that bad but it was very tiring. I wish I would've went in labor on my own instead but no luck. Maybe this one will be different. Good luck

My baby boy was 5 days late. They inserted a pill that was the size of a grape seed ( very small) into my cervix at 8 am, at noon they broke my water and I got fentenol to help mask the pain, labor was the most horrendous pain I ever felt, I tried fentenol ( didn't work) jacuzzi ( didn't work) then I got the epidural that was the best most amazing thing that happened to me, labor contractions take so much energy out of you it's ridiculous I thought I was going to die, I couldn't breathe or move because it hurt so bad, I was hit by a car a few years back and I would rather be hit by a car ten times again then feel that pain but once I got the epidural I got some much needed rest and went from a 4 to a ten in an hour and I couldn't feel anything it was so pleasant pushed 2 1/2 hrs and he finally came at 8:56 it was an amazing experience, once they were finished measuring him and checking him out my epidural wore off and I got to watch them bathe him then bundle him up and then I got my " situation" taken care of then we went to bed it was amazing!

I got induced on monday , I went in to the hospital and they put a moniter on your belly that  records contractions . I was already having some although I couldn't feel anything . They put a tiny little pill in my cervix and watched me for four hours . I had contractions to the top of the chart every two minutes DIDN'T FEEL A THING EXCEPT A TIGHT BELLY ! But I had a rare surcomestance because my son didn't drop at all and I wasn't dialated , I was also eleven days over my due date so they ended up giving me a cesection . Deff not bad at all I would do it again . I should also mention that I'm scared of basically everything and had to have my mom with me to get my routine wisdome teeth out last year (: I'm 18 , ftm . You can do it don't be scared !
