my baby's head down! - does that mean he's going to be here soon?

I'm 35 weeks and 4 days and just had my last bi-weekly doctor's visit (I have to go every week now). My doctor said he's in the head down position, does that mean he's making his arrival soon? I know a lot of women who have had their babies 2 weeks from learning that they're baby was in the head down position and my mom seems to think he's otw, that's why I was wondering. Any input ladies?

My baby has been heads down for awhile now too..and I'm 39 weeks + 5 days...still no actual sign of him being in his way. So it is not the case for me lol..

Yea my little man has been head down since 28weeks and he just dropped this week, and I'm 33 weeks now. My midwife told me that he could still be overdue, on time, or early but not to expect anything right away just because of that. So every baby is different, yea! Could be soon though! Good luck
