new mommy

So I'm a new mommy...my baby girl was just born on feb 17... so my question is does it make me a bad person to be selfish with my daughter and not want to share her?

Ooohhh... Yes I wouldn't be liking that... Daddy might need to have a talk with his mom! I have had to get pretty serious with my grandpa about not giving her back especially when I have to go! I always ask if this is going to be an issue every time! My mom will find dresses and be like, she can. Wear this for easter. She can wear this for her 1st day of kindergarten! (Yes, my mom picked out clothes years before we need it!) I'm like mom can I please pick out things for my daughter! Its frustrating. Just speak up!

Omg yes...like she is constantly trying to cover her with blankets when its hot...telling me how to do this and that and I'm getting so annoyed by it.. Twice while she was holding her and I went to grab her she did not want to give her to me...I understand its her first grandkid but she is MY first baby so back off lol

Once I became a mom I was no longer shy. Just say with a smile "ok, mommy's turn!" :) my mom was the baby hog! So it was easier for me to tell her my turn! I have heard from a lot of people that being a grandparent is even better! So they are so excited as well. But especially when they are newborns... They don't stay small for long! Mine is almost 2! That went so fast!

No I feel the same way my baby is due in 4 weeks and her dad's mom is already trying to hog my baby and I get so upset idk why lol it's like she thinks it's her baby

I do let others see her but her grandma on the daddy's side kind of hogs her and it really bugs me.

No! You just spent 9 months creating that beautiful life! Now you want to get to know her. I know when I had my daughter everyone was so excited too! I did let others hold her. And take her out to visit. But you enjoy her all you want ;) congratulations!
