Definitely agree with sarah765 with garlic but what I did for fast relief was crush the garlic, wrap it with some gauze and place it on the tooth/gum of the infected area for a couple mins. It burns pretty bad but after the burn wears off u feel so much better for like 4-6 hours

Oh and clove oil, or even just ground cloves from the spice department is one of the best tooth pain relievers.

I had my wisdom tooth pulled when I was 16 weeks , it was already out just got a bad cavity so I needed it out. They just numbed it up and yanked it out. I took Tylonel afterwards,  but that's all I can take even not pregnant i have severe medication allergies. I was fine in about a week

Ive had a terrible toothache that comes and goes, they want to wait till baby is born to take it out, gave me some mouthwash to help.  But its still been coming and going.  It was killing me last night, I looked up some home remidies, whats helped me the most was garlic clovesyou slice it and put it on and around the tooth, or just bite into it, it hurts like crazy at first, but just tough it out and it will calm down keep it there for at least 5 minutes.  It takes the pain away, and actually helps with any sort of infection.  Another thing that really works is take a little bit of salt (preferably sea salt) and baking soda mix together put a few drops of water then soak a cotton ball or paper towel then put it on infected tooth and gum, hold it there for 20 minutes at least, it takes away tge pain and draws out the infection.  Youll probably wont want to swallow so just carry something to spit in.  I did it while I slept last night, for a few hours probably ( just rolled up a towel so i could drool onto it) this morning I can touch the tooth and gum without pain for the first time in a month.  Even after being vigilant to do everything the dentist told me.  Also I rinsed with hydrogen peroxide mixed with water.  Toothaches are the worst! It is always good to see the dentist because an infection can be really bad for you and the baby, but in the meantime those are some things that worked for me.

My doc told me it's safe to see the dentist as long as they don't give you gas. She said to be sure to remind them that you are pregnant both when you schedule the appt and when you arrive. You could ask the dentist about any medications when you find out exactly what they want to do withthe tooth.
