I live in tx n got accepted for pregnant womens medicaid with an income of 1700 a month just me my fiance lives with me but because w are not married i did not have to include him if you apply online for just reg medicaid.. You get a response within 3 buisness days usually they will set u up with a phone interview n tell u if ur approved or not i had Medicaid within 2 weeks of applying it covers everything ... i had to fax stuff into them .. Never had to go to their offices ... Good luck i don't know if it works the same in your state hopefully it's similar

They will always take payments...most places are happy to work with you if you seem like you are really wanting to make things right. Im paying for this baby all out of pocket cause we make to much for medicare, and everyone so far has been very good about working with us. Deep breath, itll be ok.

Idk how it is in other states so you will need to call your HHSC department and talk to a rep. Ive never heard of emergency Medicaid and where I am if you make over the income limit you can't get any help from HHSC. So you need to call someone who can help, because medicaid is state specific

Yeah I'm going to apply tomorrow but I think I make to much the income requirements are really low since I live in a big city when I went to apply before I made to much and I'm due in 26 days so I don't think I will have it in time anyway :(

Well if you go into labor a hospital cannot turn you away, but you may have more trouble If you try going to a private hospital. But you can go to most clinics and apply for emergency Medicaid and it will take about two weeks for them to accept your application. But until you are, they will give you a letter that you can use until then . Good luck with it all && don't stress !!

The hospital cant legally turn you away, they have to take you and you should look into it and see if you can apply for medicad now
