So I'm 25 weeks I feel my baby only when I lay down or sit down to relax. Not all day until the evening. Normal? Anyone around the same time feel it all the time?

I'm 20w and for about a week now i only feel him at night usually very rarely in the day. And some days he's more active n stronger than others. It feels like twitches to me tho lol i haven't felt butterflies or the popcorn theory. Always felt like twitches lol but i know its him.

A first time mom usually feels movement from 15-26 weeks. Sometimes a mom on her second or more pregnancy can feel it sooner, but not always.

do you start feeling your baby move in your second or third trimester?

Yup, like you said when moving it rocks baby to sleep - they also sleep many hours at this point and are not awake often, so you won't feel it constantly. As long as you're feeling movements that's the important thing.
