No heartbeat. Need love and support.

Hello,

Yesterday was my first appointment and we were thinking I'm about 8 weeks along. Unfortunately there was no heartbeat and the baby was too small to measure. I'm trying to still remain hopeful because my hcg levels are still going up. Not as much as they should be but they still are. I also don't want to be too hopeful because I may miscarry... Has anyone ever had this happen? Did your baby end up being okay or did you miscarry?

I appreciate anything you can share with me.. I am pretty devastated at this point.

Thank you ladies! I think everything will be okay. I am a second time mom so this is all new to me. I never had issues previously! I refuse to give up hope so soon. I go in monday for another Ultrasound. I may wait it out a few weeks even of I don't hear a heartbeat on monday.

Don't worry they always scare first time mom's believe me when I had my little girl they kept me stressed but she's fine.

At my first appointment they told me bad stuff even possible ectopic pregnancy because they didn't see anything in there but hcg levels were rising...so i had many ultrasounds and labs turns out i ovulated later than they thought i didn't have a 28 day cycle...now 37 weeks with a healthy little boy! I believe your baby is fine stay positive congratulations!!

I'm so sorry hun! But to make you feel better,  I have herd so many mommies that don't hear the heart beat that early on :) Just keep your head up momma, I bet everything will be fine! By the way,  congrats!!  ♥

Hello,I'm sorry your going threw this but don't lose hope. I didn't hear my baby's heartbeat until about 10 weeks. My sister just went threw the same thing and we recently heard it she's about 9 weeks. Take care of yourself don't lift heavy objects and importantly continue to stay positive. Hopefully you hear your baby's heartbeat soon:)

I am sorry I have not experienced this at all I am a first time mom but at 8 weeks I thought I misscarried and went to the emergency room they had me wait 16hrs before they told me that baby and I were fine. The only thing I can tell you is to pray to God and ask him to help you through this pregnancy. Also try not to stress and act as if your in bed rest. Stress damages the body so much so being stress free and remaining positive is a great way to help your odds. I will keep you in my prayers, Good luck and keep us posted.
