Omg you ladies me feel better :') that's exactly what I tell him I will be doing all the work with the baby that is a huge job and I will try to clean/cook more :) thank you
I am a contemporary ballet dancer and dance teacher. I quit my job because i didn't want to work either. I think my situation is a bit different though. My husband and I had already argeed that I wouldn't have to work if i ever got pregnant. My mother was the one with the problem. She was a single mother with three children so she feels a woman should always be working no matter what. I'm much more traditional. Maybe if you sit and talk about why you dont want to work.... make sure you are doing something to contribute to the household. Keep the house looking nice, cook a little more.... make sure he feels like his income is appreciated. He will come around to the idea of being the sole bread winner if you make it a plus for him too.....
Most of my girlfriends and myself included have fights with our husbands about the fact that we don't work
We have all experienced the snarky comments about how it's their money, but really you will be doing all the work when the baby comes so that's a job in itself.
Yes I was working in a hookah lounge and stopped onceI found out I was ppregnant. Only because I had to. Wasn't a safe environment. Now ive been depressed and totally dependent on dh and I hate that ;(
