My water broke at 7am today. Its now almost 430pm and I have not had a single contraction at all. After months of contractions and preterm labor now it stops after my water breaks. What the heck. So frustrated. Plus I've been on a clear liquid diet for 3 days now and I'm so hungry and have no energy for this.
10pm and no contractions. No pitocin. He refuses to give it to me. I have even tried demanding being transfered to a different hospital. I'm too unstable. How the **** am I unstable. My bp is great. No swelling. Absolutely no pain. Not a single contraction. Baby hr has been stable and right between 135-150 bmp for days. The only thing that happened is my water broke. Wtf is the problem here
I would demand it because if they just keep waiting your gonna have to have an emergency c section.
My water broke at 2 pm and it's 5 30 here and I been on pitocin for almost 2 hours. I don't understand why they won't start you on it
Dr wont order it I guess. I'm so frustrated. And I was wrong my clear liquid diet has only been 3 days but it feels like weeks. I can hear my stomach growling on the fetal monitor. That's sad
well...nm then! that's insane that they won't start pitocin. I'll admit, it's not what I wanted but it still didn't work quick enough for me and I got an infection. because of the antibiotics I had to take for it I couldn't breastfeed. why won't they start pitocin?
baby needs to be delivered within 24 hrs of the water breaking. my contractions didn't come naturally after twelve hours monitored at.the hospital, so they gave me pitocin...it is very important that you be at the hospital and let them know how long it's been!
I'm in the hospital. Have been for weeks now. Im at a 5, been here for 4 weeks now. Amd I'm not feeling any contractions and the monitor isn't picking any up. Dr won't start pitocin either. So literally sitting here starving, been on clear liquid only for 4 days, and nothing is happening
You need to call the hospital without waters your baby is unprotected against infection
Are you at the hospital? Thought once your water breaks you should go to the hospital to make sure it was and to see what they say to do next if it was. If you're not progressing naturally and you're at home I would go in and see why you're not progressing.
If your water has broke you should call the hospital and tell them, they will probably tell you to go in to get checked, its not safe for baby if you wait a day or two, good luck :)
