Uggh. So obviously I'm underage.. My boyfriend is going to be 18 in a few months.. But my question is
•how old do yu have to be to sign up for wic?
•i know its going to be hard being a teen mom, I've basically provided for myself for the past 3 years,since I was 12, but never another human at least financially.. But is there any other services that could help with my baby? As far as financially like wic ?

Yup apply asap lol you get cerial too lol my baby loves coco puffs! xD my bf went with me too and it didnt affect anything its good tht he goes too and it should affect well for me it didnt. Im living with my dad but my dad nor bf have a job right now my dad got injured and my bf just hasnt been able to find a job. But if you do live with your parents they will ask you for an estimate of how much they spend on you.. u dont need proof just an estimate. Do you live with you parents? Or do you live on your own?  And for the pregnancy proof i was given a paper from the my doctor that just had how many weeks i was pregnant and my due date. Apply for it now . They will you give you the checks now even though the baby isnt born yet and they will pay for eggs milk fruit vegetables and all kinds of good stuff they want you to be healthy for the baby :)

Awesome :) my bf wants to come with me he diesnt have an income . Should i just say im a single parent ? Will him being there effect weather or not they approve me or no cuz he has no income ? And what did you yse for proof of pregnancy ?

They give you the checks right on the spot lol it was just so fast and easy and the ladies there are so nice! And i didnt take any income taxes papers or anything.. all i took was my id, medical card,  proof of pregnancy and adress and thats all and i walked out with my checks(:

Currently my bf doesn't have a job where he'd have check stubs or anything like that.
So I guess basically there's no income.since he doesn't get any check stubs.. So basically I'd go in there saying I'd be providing so they don't try getting my bfs info cuss it'd just be a waste of time I can say ima 'single mom' when really I'm not only cuss my bf is going back to school to get his GED.. & he makes money .. But I think yu get it lol. Doesn't get any check stubs.

Yeah , get your medicaid info from your mom and bring it with you and you could also be eligible for cash assistance.

You get approved right away.  I called, made an appointment and showed up. Make sure you bring your boyfriends income/taxes. They're going to ask you who's going to be providing for the baby.  
You need to show someone's income.  You'll find out right away if you qualify or not

I'm not emancipated from my mom so unless I get emancipated then I'd be eligible for rent assistance & all that. I think I'd only be eligible for getting the wic "checks" to get formula & all that & maybe cash assistance??

I think they send yu something. If I remember right when my mom was pregnant I wana say they sent her something or called her since they have to go thru all the paper work & stuff

Call your local wic and they will hook u up with all your aid you need or info how to get medicare and food stamps and welfare has aid to help with rent assistance,  food, child care and finical aid for your college

No age limit for wic and no need for a perent. Im 17 and i walked in there right on my own!(:

Who do you live with ? Your parents ? If not are you emancipated?  If you're emancipated you could and should also apply for foodstamps saying you're pregnant and you should update your medicaid to pregnant medicaid so it will cover your prenatals and ultrasounds and what not .

I dont believe there is an age limit for wic . You just call and schedule the appointment they might require a parent or guardian go with you but im notsure . You will need to bring your id or birth certificate and social security card . You will need proof of adress any recent mail sent in your name will work since you probably dont have bills in your name . And you will need proof of pregnancy dr papers work hospital papers you can ask your dr for a note . And if you have medicaid bring proof of that as well because you may be eligible for cash assassistance through wic if you have medicaid .
