Thanks for the quick replies everyone!
If you havent already send your husband to cvs or walgreens and tell him to buy him pedialite . Stay away from milk because it will make him vomit. Give him as much as he wants . It has electralites in it that will keep, him hydrated. Check his diaper every few hour to make sure hes peeing if hes not it can be a sign of dehidration. hope it helps sweetie.
I would say try to comfort him best you can, but if he doesn't have a fever and isn't coughing then you should be fine. Puke is never fun, but if hubby can clean that up and let you comfort him you should have nothing to worry about.
No fever. He's been cranky all day when he's usually a very happy baby. Also, no bm today but that happens every now and again.
Only you know whats best for you and your children. It is never bad to be cautious and your son will not even remember in a couple of days that you weren't the one to take care of him while he was sick.
That's tough but I say if he needs you be there for him if you got the flu shot, you're alreadyin the same house breathing the same air and i'm sure he was courageous yesterday without you knowing it, so just wash your hands often and stay hydrated and hope your immune system does its job:-)
Thanks! Also, I am 37+6, not 36+4, I have no idea why I typed that. So technically I'm full term, but want the baby in as long as possible!
What are some of his syptoms besides vomiting, sorry I have six chidren and I hate when babys get sick. Maybe I can help alittle is he running any fever.
My hubby and I just went through this with our daughter. We all ended up with it. It starts with vomiting then goes to terrible diarrhea. It lasts about 24 hours. We had to bring our daughter in because she was not holding anything down not even water. She started to get dehydrated as well. Hope your lil guy gets better and you don't get it because its no fun
