I'm not against circumcision, I feel it's personal choice but it really isn't needed for needed for cleanliness or disease prevention as stated above. In the UK, it's not even a topic of conversation, I've never had or met anyone who has had this discussion over whether to do it or not, and it's not something that doctors or midwifes mention at all during pregnancy. So if it really was the case that men that aren't circumcised are not as clean and are more prone to if tectonic etc then the majority of the men in the uk would be infected and that's simply not the case. I understand that in America it's something that is very commonly done but it really doesn't make a difference at all to a man's overall health if he cleans (which he should circumcised or not), as I said if this was the case then most of the UK would have a problem and they done.

Me and my boyfriend agreed on doing it. Everyone's opinion is different so if you feel it's needed then do it. It's not like he's gonna remember or deal with the thought of it his whole life for all he knows it's normal until he's of age to learn about it!

I will not be cercumcizing my son. I would feel like I was violating him if I cut off a part of his body when he is born. It's disturbing and unnecessary to me. My husband is not cercumcized and he has never had problems with infections or std's. Keep it clean and there shouldn't be a problem.

My son will be circumcised for many reasons, cleanliness, disease prevention, and overall appearance. I know many girls who don't sleep with men with uncircumcised penises for many reasons. I personally can't because I wind up laughing at the guy cuz it looks like a turtle in a sweater. So my son Oliver, due in September will definitely be circumcised.

I have two sons and they both are circumcised.men that are not have alot of problems.they carry alot of infections due to bacteria.and when they're babies they heal fast from it.grown men have a very hard time healing from it.

I am getting my son circumcised! I just feel it's the right thing to do but I understand why some don't.

I see nothing wrong with it. I'm doing it to my son as soon as he's born

It's unnecessary and only cosmetic. I view it as mutilation. Do your research. Many circumcisions get screwed up too.

I'm due in 3 days. Pregnant with my 3rd and lucky charm a BOY! I already have 2 girls. I'm definitely getting my son circumcised for the simple fact my husband is circumcised and he said he wants his son circumcised as well

I personally see it as unnecessary. I'm from the UK and here its not a common thing to have done (unless it's for medical or religious purposes). I've heard people say men who are uncircumcised aren't as clean or have higher risk for STDs but that's not true. If I had a son I would just get my bf to teach him how to clean correctly, my bf isn't circumcised and he's never ever had a problem with anything.

I think it should be done! Its pretty standard around here...I think its very odd for it not to be done.
