ovulate without getting your period??

im just 20 & my period is super irregular.  Havent had it for past 5 mnths.  3 days ago found out im prego.  its possible to get pregnant without gettin your period?  my dr appt not till next week but how do i figure out when baby concieved when hardly have sex.  (like about 2x month. sad.)

Well, I am 21and my period has always been irregular too. I would get it on time once or twice then nothing for 3 to 5 months my doc told me I could still ovulate but it would be harder to know when. You can still get pregnant, the first ultrasound can tell approx when baby was conceived. I am 22 weeks pregnant, no help but it took about 2 years. Gd luck on your appt

You ovulate BEFORE you get a period. A period is cause by the egg not getting fertilized and the uterus shedding the lining it created as a home for it. You usually ovulate about 2 weeks before your period occurs.
