You're baby will have NAS but it lasts around 2-3 days, I am going through the same thing my High Risk Dr told me there are no long term effects. If I am in chronic pain he said there is no reason why I should stop taking it because there are no long term effects like defects or damage of any sort. I am on 80 mg of hydrocodone. BUT KEEP IN MING EVERY DR IS DIFFERENT AND YOU MAY BE DIFFERENT.  The body ahs a way of saying "ok I can't carry this baby it's not going to work out" and you have a miscarriage. So you made it this far, What I am doing is getting down to a dose where I can manage the pain... and a month before my due date I am going to ween off completely. Hope you find this useful I have been looking for women that delivered on pain meds and it is hard to find..

How long have you been taking the oxycodone, and how much have you actually been taking?  You will need to see a doctor if you have been taking it for any extended period of time, so you can both be tapered off the medication.  If it has been any extended period of time, you and your baby are physically addicted.  You must tell your doctor for your own safety, and that of your baby.
