pain and tingling in calves

Hi ladies! I hope you all having a blessed day. Earlier today I started feeling a weird kind of pain in my calves and tingling. It's really annoying. I did some research and it said it could be restless leg syndrome, but there is says it happens when one is sitting or laying for too long, but in my case is the opposite. I feel better when I lay down or sit with my legs extended, and when I get up it starts all over again and I also get like a shooting pain going from my left buttocks down my leg. It almost feels like my whole leg is going to brake off. Super weird and uncomfortable. My husband keeps telling me to go to the hospital, but I don't think it's a reason for a trip to the hospital. I am 34 weeks and 6 days. Has anyone else been experiencing this? Thank you and for God bless!

Restless leg syndrome is when you feel like something is on your legs and it gives you anxiety until you move your legs. So I agree with the ladies above.

Sciatic problems are also most common on the left side from what I've seen online. Talk to your OB or midwife next time you see her and let her know what's going on! It's definitely nothing too dangerous so try not to worry :)

That pain from your left butt down your leg sounds like a sciatic nerve problem!! Just before i got pregnant I had the worst pain like that that would shoot all the way down my leg and in my lower back. Went to the doctor after a few months and it was a pinched sciatic nerve. I have read that's very common during pregnancy too! Mine was so bad my doctor sent me to physical therapy.
