pain in groin

I've had a pain in my left side of my groin... should I be concerned? I've had it for a few days now and some days it hurts more than others. It seems that my baby is doing fine, she's moving and kicking all over the place. I think I may have just pulled a muscle somehow. My doctor is impossible to get should of, and his nurses never answer the phones. I don't want to have to sit in the e.r. again if I don't need to.

Also, when the baby hiccups, can you see your belly move? Sometimes I see my belly bounce as if I'm being punched or kicked, but sometimes it also feels like she has the hiccups. This is my first ppregnancy, so I have no idea really what's normal and what isn't. Thank goodness for the internet!!

I'm so glad I found answers here. I've been trying to reach my doctor for the past 3 days. I really hate going to the hospital. And if I take a warm bath, it eases the pain for a while. Also I found that stretching helps. Thank you all for your help! (:

Sounds like pelvic girdle pain. It gets worse as babygets bigger. There are exercises you can do that you can probably google, a belly brace would also provide some relief, otherwise your ob might be able to recommend a good pregnancy physio.

Ligament pains. Nothing you can do about them. I started getting them the beginning of my 3rd trimester and they suck. Sometimes it might shoot down your leg too.

Ooo i get this D: .. haven't found a way to ease it either /: most doctors just say it's normal.. eventually one doctor told me it's symphysis pubis dysfunction but she wasn't worried or anything she just said it'll pass once i have the baby :')  i think you feel hiccups about 30 weeks and yeah i love watching my belly move haha (:

Its normal. When I got pregnant I could barely walk bc I had pain in my groin but it was the right side. I complained about it a lot at first but as of now I'm 31 weeks and I've gotten used to it. Doc says should go away once the baby is born.
