Wanting to conveive

My husband and I are trying to conceive.. I started my period October 5th 2011 and we were having intercourse everyday to every other day.. Now I have started again october 30th.. I was on bc for about 6 years and I have been off bc for 2 months.. Is it possible that I can get pregnant with my periods approaching 2 times in a month.

I also wanted to ask if I should consider buying ovulation kit .. Im wondering if I'm not ovulating..I've done the ovulation caculater and we have made sure we have intercourse when it says I'm fertile.. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated! Again thanks for all the help and support!

Patience, patience, patience. I was in a similar scenario, having been on bc for 12 years. We conceived right away, but lost it around 8 weeks. It took a year to conceive again. I wouldn't be too worried about your cycle, as it is still
25 days long, and the average is 28.Try not to over focus, as your mind can mess with you body & cycle. And it might be a good time to get a basal thermometer to start tracking when you ovulate. It is the key to everything. There's lots of info online on this. Good luck to you!

First of all dont give up we were about to when we finally decided to get some dr advice. I had irregular cycles and when he told me he,had to put me in bc I thought he was crazy. But I stuck through it and after a couple of months when he thought it was time I stopped taking it. I was about to start treatment and then the test came positive. ;) visit a dr they know what they are doing ! Good luck

I honestly cant answer that for you but i cant tell you that i know your feeling. I was on bc for 10 years!!!! I stopped taking it in january and we tried and tried! Thats all we wanted. It took awhile for my body to adjust but we are now 11 1/2 weeks pregnant! I would give it a little more time for your body to adjust. Good luck and keep me posted! My thoughts are with you and your husband!
