Yes a pillow helps a great deal. You need to elevate yr hip and knee so yr nerves, muscles and bones arnt pulling and straining. Its a major pain in the bumb lol to sleep with the pillows but youl feel beta the next day.
yea its lack of water. I've been getting them since I was little off n on. And when I would get them it was always when I wasn't drinking any or enough water. Plus I was told bananas help too

Try rubbing your bumb cheek. May be sciatic nerve or hips. Are you sleeping with a pillow between yr legs? I cramp up to mostly my calf and sciatic nerve plays up abit and hips. Im 33 weeks. Try a hot pack maybe.

Im not really sure what it is but I have the same problem. It comes and goes and my doctor said I wasn't drinking enough water and my muscles were cramping up. I always took a bath and drank lots of water and it went away. Good luck.
