who throws baby shower?

so I'm 25 weeks pregnant and I really Dont have anyone to throw me a baby shower. I have a lot of people in my church but no one was really offered. my twin sister is 22 weeks pregnant and I wish we could have one together. is it okay to throw yourself one? or is that like.... not right?

My husband and I paid for ours but a friend hosted for us. Sure you can do your own.

You could definitely throw yourself one.  No shame. Its all about the baby anyways! I helped my mom plan and throw mine.  Nothing wrong with it
