I am 21 weeks and still do not feel the baby that much. When I had an ultrasound last week at 20 weeks I told the tech that I couldn't feel much movement, she said it was because I had a tilted pelvis, so the baby sat deeper and back in me. Maybe this is a similar situation for you, or maybe you have a anterior placenta, that would cushion all the babies kicks. If they doctor didn't seem to concerned about it than I wouldn't worry about it :)
I don't think it would be to late as there are other OBs that work out of that office but I do like my Dr. It's just this 1 issue he just shrugged it off an it rubbed me the wrong way. I have an appt on Wed though and Im gonna bring it up again an let him know Im still worried.
During the day, your activities rock your baby to sleep. So at night is usually when your baby is most active. That's how it is for me. I don't feel him until like midnight ish and when I wake up throughout the night is when I feel him most.
Just think positive .. The doctor would have said something. Is it too late to switch doctors?
Im a ftm so I could just be overthinking. I just feel frustrated and sad that I don't feel her the way other ppl feel their babies, I honestly don't even feel pregnant or that there's a baby in there most the time but I will look into a 3D and maybe it'll help calm my nerves.
Ya I was gonna say maybe paying for a 3 or 4d one would help your worries. Good luck.
As long as her heartbeat is good the doc. Want have any concern... she may just be a lazy little baby... only thing I can think cause I'm 29week and a day and my son feels like his about to kick a whole in me..... I also asked for an ultra sound she told me I could pay $125 for a 4d one.
