Baby Movement

So I will be 29w Saturday (tmrw),  I don't feel alot of movement from my daughter and when I do it's not very strong, it doesn't feel like kicking, more soft thumps. It can't be felt from outside or seen. I wasn't worried at first and at my last appt (25w 4d) the nurse and my Dr didn't seem worried either as her heartbeat was a nice 151, when I brought up my weight being the reason they said no we have obese women who feel strong movement..Being close to 30w and maybe feeling movement abt an hour or two is starting to get to me, especially when I get family/friends who seem so surprised and I see women posting abt constant nonstop movement. I asked if an u/s is possible to check on her and my Dr refused saying I can't get anymore (my last at 20w) because of my ins unless it's medically necessary. Im just very frustrated because I feel he's not taking my concern seriously. Im sorry this is so long, I was just wondering if anyone could give me possible reasons I don't feel her by now ??? I would appreciate any help even if it's just a guess.

I am 21 weeks and still do not feel the baby that much.  When I had an ultrasound last week at 20 weeks I told the tech that I couldn't feel much movement, she said it was because I had a tilted pelvis, so the baby sat deeper and back in me.  Maybe this is a similar situation for you, or maybe you have a anterior placenta, that would cushion all the babies kicks.  If they doctor didn't seem to concerned about it than I wouldn't worry about it :)

I don't think it would be to late as there are other OBs that work out of that office but I do like my Dr. It's just this 1 issue he just shrugged it off an it rubbed me the wrong way. I have an appt on Wed though and Im gonna bring it up again an let him know Im still worried.

During the day, your activities rock your baby to sleep. So at night is usually when your baby is most active. That's how it is for me. I don't feel him until like midnight ish and when I wake up throughout the night is when I feel him most.

Just think positive .. The doctor would have said something. Is it too late to switch doctors?

Im a ftm so I could just be overthinking. I just feel frustrated and sad that I don't feel her the way other ppl feel their babies, I honestly don't even feel pregnant or that there's a baby in there most the time but I will look into a 3D and maybe it'll help calm my nerves.

Ya I was gonna say maybe paying for a 3 or 4d one would help your worries. Good luck.

As long as her heartbeat is good the doc. Want have any concern... she may just be a lazy little baby... only thing I can think cause I'm 29week and a day and my son feels like his about to kick a whole in me..... I also asked for an ultra sound she told me I could pay $125 for a 4d one.
