placenta dying!! help!!
Im 32 weeks pregnant and yesterday i found out that my placenta is dying.. has anyone else had this happen?? Im freaking out and dont kno what to do, how would you kno if it has died? Will my little boy be ok? :(
Not yet.. i have a ultrasound on thursday but apparently thats the best they can do :( so fingers crossed tht he is ok :) thanks guys x
Im not sure what they are planning on doing.. im scared and dont want anything bad to happen to him :( i will be going into the hospital in the morning to demand answers
If your placenta is dying or dead the baby can't get any nutrients like stated above so why hasn't either doc discussed the next step with you? I would go in Monday to labor and delivery because this is nothing to take lightly. Sure they can do something...delivery the baby! Baby can survive at 32 weeks. Does he intend on just leaving you & baby in this condition?
I think he's underweight because he's not getting enough nutrition from the placenta please ask them to induce you i had a stillborn baby years ago due to a bad placenta dont risk having to go through something like that is better to take the chance and deliver him before its too late at 32 weeks your baby can survive outside i also heard that if the placenta is not working properly or there is something wrong with it babies can get brain damage from not getting enough oxygen..
Mine is aging fast Dr told me if baby stops growing properly then they will induce me because if placenta dies they can give baby nutrition though IVs and feed tubes in the NICU since the placenta isn't giving nutrition
Im stuck inbetween care at 2 different hospitals and im scared bcoz my baby is underweight (1.5kilo) n has only put on 200grams in the last month.. i think this will potentially hurt him :( the doctor seemed worried but told me that he cant do anything else.
My placenta expired. It had white oval opaque shapes on the placenta in the u/s. However, I was further along and 2 cm dilated. Vaginal birth. Everything was fine. The only thing was the after math. My baby was peeling everywhere. OMG, it was like a snow storm in my room when I shook her blanket out. I think she was in there too long. No reason to worry, everything will be fine. However, you do need to talk with your Dr and find the best option. He may want to induce you.
Did the hospital not take you in? They should of and they should be planning to deliver the baby tbh x
