Ok so im 5 weeks and a day and i got diagnosed with group b strep. Please tell me ima be ok has any one else gone through this is there baby ok!?

I'm 37 weeks and my doctor just told me that I have it, it worried me at first but I talk to my doctor and she told me that it's a bacteria that your body naturally produces it had no symptoms and is not harmful to you but is for the baby, so when you in labor they will give you anti biotics so that the baby don't catch it, but for now you're fine and the baby is ok,hope that help

You and baby will be fine. Its pretty common. While giving birth they will give you an antibiotic. There is like a 1-4000 chance of you giving it to your baby and having complications if they don't give you the antibiotic in time. Stay calm and don't stress Lita of women get this and everything goes just fine
