Is it possible to have a period during pregnancy??

Tuesday a.m I had lil light bleeding online on toilet paper.  Wednesday it was brownish..but by Wednesday night it was gone I'm 7 weeks so I know it not implantation bleeding.  But is it possible to have a period???

Thanks I knew it wasn't implantation bleeding but I was curious..as too wat was cousin it.. I e heard other ppl say they bled during their pregnancy but never gave an answer to wat caused it..

No, you can't have a period while pregnant, a period is the uterine lining shedding to get rid of an unfertilized egg, and if you're pregnant, that means your egg IS fertilized, so if your uterine lining sheds, it's a miscarriage. But you can have pregnancy related bleeding, which you are having, and it can be a number of things, sex, irritable cervix, infection, etc. Not always something to worry about but definitely mention it to your doctor.
