I had my daughter 2 weeks ago and I never knew how hard being a mom was... It is the most difficult job ever.. I love my daughter sooo much but im struggling with being happy also i cry alot in the shower and feel sad alot. Idk if its cause im only 19, anyways i wonder how to over come this and when it will get better. I feel alone with this i dont feel like telling anyone about it.

It's normal  not only cause you're young but many women go thru postpartum depression. I suggest going out like thwe ladies say. See the sunlight and get out the house and just think about all the good. You'll be fine. Good luck

I completely agree with both women . . . The sun is a big help. With my first baby i was down but my mom told me to go outside and take a walk. Or even if you walk around babies r us just cause if your baby crys its the environment for that or any big store. But really dnt be afriad to ask for help if you need it. Look up baby groups in your area or somethin to that nature. Good luck

Definitely get out of the house with the baby! I'm also 19 and almost 13 weeks postpartum. It's totally normal to feel sad after delivering a baby, but if it continues past 4-6 weeks... Bring it up at your postpartum check and get the appropriate care! But getting out, trying to keep busy but also sleeping when you can will really help! I had the worst baby blues and still every once in a while I get sad but just because I'm still adjusting. But definitely don't be afraid to tell anyone and ask for help. Anyone. Even asking a family member or friend to watch the baby for 45 mins to run to the store quick will make a huge difference. Just because you're a mom doesn't mean you should get a small break every once in a while. Every mom needs it, you just can't be afraid to ask for help.

It's completely normal to feel this way and it will go away. I was told to go outside with the baby once in awhile, the sun helps a lot more than you might think.
