post pregnancy menstruation

I am seven months post partum after my fourth child.  I had a normal delivery and breastfed until almost two months ago.  My son would sleep through the night since 4 months.  I am wondering why I have yet to start my period. I have had random vaginal discharges which are blood tinged, and have been feeling bloated and crampy off and on for about three weeks. I don't remember it ever taking this long before to resume menstruation.  Is this normal?

It can take up to a year to regulate and have a period after giving birth.

It's not normal as far as I know and I'm not by any means a doctor but I'd really strongly urge you to see your doctor because it has been way to long since you gave birth, you should've had your cycle by now. Not trying to worry or scare you but you could be pregnant. I any case you should see a professional rather than taking ANY advise from ANY one that responds to this. Good Luck!
