vbac help!!

Ok so im about to be 34wks and my doctor wants me to have another c-section. I keep asking what the risks are but he just says that he doesn't do vbac's and that i risk rupturing and that i dont want to have regrets later on. But I feel like he's not even giving me a choice or any actual information. This is baby #3 for me i was induced with my first because of really high blood pressure but was able to have him with no added complications at 38wks. With my secound my water broke at 38w5d and I ended up getting an emergancy c-section because my baby's heart beat kept dropping but other then that my pregnancy was healthy and normal. And this time around i was hopping to have my baby vaginaly but it seems imposible because Of my doc :/ idk wat to do anymore. Any advice?

They say if u want to try a vbac then to wait 4+ years before having another baby after a csection .... me myself I've already had 2 csections and will be having another one here in the next few weeks since I wont make it to June due to complications but Ive heard the risks and everything from different docs and its all comes down to whats best for the baby

I'm hoping to do a vbac. My Dr hasn't told me no but he seems annoyed with me! Lol. I'm getting a 2nd opinion at my next appt and then I'll look into going to a bigger hospital that is better equipt for vbac

Yeah im really going to push the subject because i dont think its fair that he doesn't want to give me the choice of having a vaginal birth just because he doesn't perform them in his practice... good luck with your pregnancy and delivery hope you get to have a safe and wonderful vbac :)

I definitely want to do a vbac this time! (Had an emergency c section with my first) my midwife and doctor both asked if I want to try a vbac. I don't see why you should have another c section. And the risk is soo minimal especially after 2 years. It's worth a try, especially if you really want it.and nobody should talk you into having another c section if you don't want to. Worst case, if baby or you aren't doing well during labor, they can still perform one. But then again, it's all your choice hun :) just want to encourage you to fight for what you want. I'm doing the same, and am determined that everything will go smooth this time. Wish you all the best and a safe delivery♡:)

Thnx for your advice i had my youngest more then 2yr ago but I just wanted to actually get info on what my chances of having a succesful vbac wld be. But in the end i just want my baby to be safe and healthy. My recovery with my first wasnt bad at all so if i do end up having another c-section it wont be to bad.

My midwife is saying i should try a vbac but i would be pleased with ur doctor! I want another c-section! If i was you stick with c-section, think about your baby and what if something happened during labor? As u have had troubled pregnancies i would be on the safe side if im honest! I had emergancy c-section at 31weeks 5days due to eclampsia and my baby heart rate kept dropping, i had him 7 months ago and im 16 weeks pregnant, so my risks are extremely high of bad complications and my midwife wants me to try vbac? I was in shock when she suggested it! my doctor says i will never be able to have a vaginal birth again! And if im honest as long as my baby is healthy, thats all that matters hun, good luck x
