Dont feel bad. I am 24... have been with my husband for 5 years, married 3, we have a 2 year old and we didn't post it. We didnt post it originally bc we were worried we would m/c... bc we have m/c every time I had the morning sickness and all that fun stuff. So when the nausea came we didnt tell anyone, only close family. When we hit 12 weeks, it was my friend's wedding... then thanksgiving then christmas. Then at that point I didnt really want to post it bc I have a brother I dont speak to and I didnt want him to get on a family member's fb to find out info. I am 36 weeks now.. baby is being induced for medical reason early. He will be here Thursday. I have not posted anything. When people comment on a post asking about our baby I will respond but im not posting photos or updates or anything like that. It will be a surprise for most of our fb people lol
thank exactly! I feel you on that one kimmii
I agree with you on the not putting your baby on your social network. You know how people run their mouth! And social networks can sometimes stress you out and you and your baby don't need that. I deactivated my fb because I was tired of all the damn questions.. Like if I wanted you to know I will personally call you not post it on fb.
I live in California &&'d thanks for you support and good advice yall , at least I know im not the only one who feels this way , theres no way that I'll ever be ashamed of my baby theres just way to much love for him/her to even feel that way lol (: ♡♥
you don't have to put up anything you don't want to. Its your choice. Peoples opinions do not matter.
Where do you live? Maybe u need someone to talk to, but don't be ashamed. I got pregnant with my first child at age 17 and I ddidn't care what anyone had to say all I was worried about was taking care of my son and finishing school and I did both. I am now 28 pregnant with my 2nd child and if I had to go back and change the fact that I had a child young I wouldn't because it taught me how to be a better mother and person. But keep your head up
Totally understandable! I'm 23 and will be 24 when my baby is born as well and I still went back and forth with myself about posting it on Facebook.. just like you said, I didn't want to seem ashamed because that's definitely not the case.. I just don't care for people to be in my business or people who try to be extra friendly only because there's a baby coming lol I eventually posted a pic sitting down with my boyfriend that showed part of my belly and that was enough to let them know. My sister and boyfriend post about the baby though
I agree. I didn't put anything on Instagram until I was about 8 months... which was like a month ago lol I don't need people judging me not that I care what they think but that is a stressful situation & I try to keep my life as simple as possible for my unborn son's sake. So I can understand why you are doing this. As long as you love your baby he/she can feel that. Who cares what conclusions people jump to. Goodluck with your pregnant & God bless boo!
I'm 33 weeks and will be 24 when I have the baby. I have posted nothing on Facebook throughout t this pregnancy except that I'm team blue. Don't worry. People won't assume you are ashamed, it's none of their business. I send the photos to the people who I want to see them. You're just monitoring you knows what. There's nothing wrong with that.
