yep.. i was told to start taking them while i was trying to get pregnant.. so you should start taking them as soon as possible.. and they dont have to be the most expensive kind.. they can be the generic cheap ones they all have the same basic stuff thats good for you and baby.. congratulations.
I ALSO HAD PROBLEMS TAKING MY PRENATAL VITAMINS. I WOULD THROW UP THE NASTIEST TASTING LIQUID SECONDS AFTER. AND I'M 9WEEKS. BUT MY DR SAID IT WAS FINE TO TAKE THE FLINTSTONE VITAMINS, AND I WAS SO GRATEFUL FOR THAT. I'M TOLERATING THOSE MUCH BETTER. GOOD LUCK.
Prenatal vitamins are technically meant to be used 3 months before you start trying to have a baby till the day you give birth.
Yes. You may want to buy the smallest bottle though in case they make you feel bad you can try a different one. Also after your first ob appt your dr will give you samples to try. I have a hard time with prenatals since they make my morning sickness even worse so I take flintstones kid vitamins :)
