pregnancy testing
hi please help.after implantation bleeding has stopped how long should i wait to do a test?ive read about 2 weeks but then ive read other things so confused!!

Your very welcome. What you have planned sounds like a good idea. I also did two tests before the positive one, because i just "knew" I was pregnant. I had extreme moodiness and my boobs hurt like crazy! Im sorry to hear about your loss, its a hard thing to go through. I wish for you that your pregnant too! :o) Looking forward to hearing the results.

tested a few times now and all negative.i'm due now for my period now on 7th so i'm just going to wait and see.gunna be hard but got to try and get it out of my head it's all i can think of!thanx for replys
if it is indeed implantation bleeding than you should be able to get a positive preg test within a week after....once the eggs implants (causing the implantation bleeding) hcg is released by your body....preg tests pick up this hcg and there are some very sensitive preg tests that can pick up very small amounts

Implantation bleeding generally happens 3 to 6 days after fertilization. Depending on when your period is due, there are tests that will give you a positive result upto 6 days before.
I was due on the 10th of June 09 for my period and did a test on the 4th of June and got a positive.
It depends on how far you are and how high your HCG levels are.
I would say, get a test with two in it and try one six days before your next period is due. If it is negative then wait until after your period is due and try again.

If your due on the 7th its probably too early. When you do test again, test first pee of the morning. Your HCG levels are highest then.
Theres nothing wrong with being consumed with the thought of being pregnant, I was the same. :o)
