My fiancee was the same. Very distant. Never spent time with me ( we also miscarried our first baby) and he broke down one night and told me he was scared and didnt know if he was ready. Its been almost 3 months since that happened and he's the most supportive and loving man I could ask for.

Its my first pragnency, my husband was so much willing to have baby, bt now when im pragnent he is not much xcited about baby. The reason is that he is much more concerned about My health as im too weak. ;)

My partner did a simular thing, was very distant and when ever I wanted to talk about baby stuff he would avoid talking to me or get frustrated. We are fine now, we have our ups and downs. Sometimes we can't agree on anything. I think part of it has to do with him being nervous and the other part feeling like he has no control over what is going on. Pregnancy is very different for men, as he is not physically carrying the baby or going through those emotional changes. At one point my partner said he would rather stay at work then come home because he was finding it very stressful.

Yes, but we werent trying.. and he was just very scared bc we lost two babies in our second trimester.  But after a little bit of time he became very excited and has been so supportive and loving ever since! give him time, he may just need time to adjust.. it's normal for some guys.
