What a great day to be due :)
I use receiving blankets as burp rags a lot of the time because the I always seem to run out of burp rags before I get laundry done so I keep at least 10 receiving blankets and then different ones for bedding. I did my baby shower about 6 weeks before my due date with my first baby
Baby shower 27-35 weeks. And the list of baby stuff I have a list in my journals. But receiving blankets I use as burp cloths because you never know when a big spew will happen I have 8-10
Receiving blankets have multiple uses so yes I would say plenty, like around 15 since they come about 4 to 5 a pack. But that's something you could wait for your baby shower for because lots of people usually buy receiving blankets. & normally 1 to 2 months before your due is average for having a baby shower, I did my first sons two months before and plan to do the same for this one... :-) good luck.
Lol as far as receiving blankets go I must have about 15 or 16, I have 6 or 7 blankets for the bedding, 6 swaddling blankets..... honestly it's a personal choice some ladies don't even get receiving blankets or don't end up using them, I find them to be very useful idk why I got so many but it never hurts, I went a bit over board when it came to little things the baby needs
April 27th is my due date too!
Im due april 27 and im having my baby shower 28th march
I have 4 receiving blankets so far so I'm just trying to figure out about how many more I should get.
Most people normal do babyshowers around 7 months, but its really your call. And id say plenty of blankets just incase of spit ups or other accidents.
