Please help

38 weeks. I was bleeding Friday night after sex at first it was light pink spotting then turned a darker red as the night went on. It stopped Saturday morning then in the afternoon I discharged a whole bunch of brown stuff continuously for a couple hours. I got home went to sleep and woke up at 2 am with this uncomfortable pain more uncomfortable than painful and continued until 4 am. At 4 am I started having EXCRUCIATING contractions 4 minutes apart lasting for a few minutes (there would be more than a few contractions in that interval where they would happen every 4 minutes they were basically grouped) until 6:30 I was crying and screaming but at rare few times they'd stop for like 10 minutes then start every 4 minutes again. Changing positions, walking, water etc NOTHING helped then they just stopped all of a sudden but I still have that uncomfortable pain. I didn't go to L&D because I didn't want to be just sent home

It really is better to be there and be sent back home, than to need to be there and not be..

You should go to labor and delivery ... it's better to know what's going on than to worry about being sent home .... You and the babies health and safety is #1 ... good luck
