Lol that's not why.. they encourage breastfeeding because they think its the best thing for the baby and mom.. they think it gives mom and baby a special bond and they do a lot of research and think for whatever reason breastfeeding is better overall. And if they don't give you the formula they give more food for mom since she is breastfeedingso they don't save any money.

It's cause they don't wanna provide the formula. They want more women to breast feed so they don't have to pay for it

Here they give you a manual one and if you go back to work or school they give you an electric one. I doubt I'm going to breatfeed and they kept trying to shove it down my throat as well!!

I had a automatic pump that you could pump both at the same time

My MIL works for WIC u only get a breast pump if you plan on exclusively breastfeeding and if you are going to be working full time.. so not everyone gets one..
