breastfeeding 101

Im 22 weeks prego with baby number two I didn't breastfeed with my first but pumped for three weeks . Im so lost with breastfeeding I want to really try this time wat should I know  how to store ur milk wat to eat  wat not to eat will i be more tired good bad n ugly thanks

Oh, and you might be a little tired at first with breastfeeding. It will feel like you constanrly feed. But don't worry, it will get better in time. Get some nipple creme as well.

Well breastfeed helps restore things that were lost duringpregnancy, and you lost weight faster. If you just want to pump, I would make about 10 bottles a day. Maybe 12. Some newborns feed up to 12 bottles a day. I would pumo off both breasts or feed off both, depends on which you want to do. Or you can pump off one, feed of other. Newborns usually go through a growth spurt where they eat constantly from 1-3 days so don't be alarmed if it seems like you haven't stopped feeding lol. Oh, it is weird but true.. if you breast pump milk in the morning, that is specifically for morning milk, it gives baby energy, if you breastfeed at night, it is night milk, soothes them. Most people don't know that. So if you pump night and day, label your bottles because you don't want to get bight mixed with day or you will have a baby up all night, lol(: Good luck.
