question on paternity

Cd 24 of my last cycle I stopped birthcontroll pills, then started my period the next day. On cd 14 of new cycle I had 3  mature follicles and was given a trigger shot for ovulation induction. On cd 28 (14 days post ovulation) I had an HCG of 82. Then had an ultrasound at 6wks4days that measured 5.1mm and was consistent with dates per md. Same for 9 week ultrasound. So I have a question with paternity I slept with xboyfriend on the same day that I discontinued taking my birthcontrol pills.(on cd24 of last cycle) Then with my current boyfrient during this whole cycle. I know that it makes sense that my current boyfriend fathered this child, but just have that nagging doubt. Any thoughts on the subject? And please I have already beat my self up about this and am just looking for advice.

Your said your dates were consistent with conceiving after the period. So I'd have to agree that it is your current boyfriend's baby.

was in a similar situation along time ago now and you will end up getting a perternity test you cant live with not knowing 100% forever you will always be wondering dont do it to yourself you also owe it to your bf to tell him the truth

I of course have to be the barrer of bad news! My Best friend took birth control and the DAY she stopped taking it she got pregnant! So it is very possible only a paternity test can tell. Good Luck and fingers crossed!

Thanks guys! I know it makes sense, that it would be my current boyfriends baby. I just keep thinking What if, Maybe, you never know.  I guess it's just my concious reminding me what a horrible predicament I put myself in. But I do feel better now that I hear it from someone else. Thanks again!

Michelle_rusty is right. Your ex's sperm wouldnt be able to live long. They all would have died out long before you even ovulated. So yeah, I would say your lucky! The baby is your current boyfriends, I would be like 99.99999999% sure.

i would say the new bf... sperm can live inside the body for up to 72 hrs. and you have a time gap.. so i wouldnt even worry about the ex... =)
