I had been smoking for 4 years when I got pregnant...I cut back and completely quit by 14 weeks but when I did it I had to have something in my mouth all time like jolly ranchers, lollipops I was eating them a lot because anytime I wanted to smoke I would pop one in my mouth. Doesn't work for everyone but its worth a try
THS IS MY 5TH PREGNANCY AND IVE SMOKED W ALL BUT ONE WHICH WAS MY FIRST IVE SLOWED DOWN ALOT BUT HAVE NOT COMPLETLEY STOPED I WISH U THE BEST OF LUCK.. IM 33WEEKS AND STL SMOKE ABOUT 4-5CIGGS A DAY EVERY ONE IS DIFF AND HAS DIFF VIEWS ON SMOKING WHILE PREGGO SO GOOD LUCK TO U
I smoked as well and quit as soon as I found out I was preg. It wasnt too easy at first but I changed my routine around and that seemed to help. Also, my fiancee quit with me as that was a big help too (he had a harder time than me). I think it was easy for me bc I have always told myself that I would never smoke when preg. They make nicotine lozenges that really help with cravings, you have to get frm your dr.
I did it alone and found it helped as my partner doesn't smoke. I used lollipops and any type. Whenever I craved a Fag i had one. I kept them all over my house. In a morning before I got up if have one in bed. I quit straight away at 4 weeks. Good luck and congrats
my doctor limited me to help me quit smoking she had me put about 7 cigarettes in a sandwich bag and thats all i got all day and then she had me take one away a week until i got down to not having any it really works
Hey congrats on the pregnancy ! I know how hard it is to quit! I'm 35+6 and I actually didn't quit till I was 25weeks...ask your doctor about prescribing you nicotine replacement...the ones that worked for me was the niquitin lozenges 4mg and the quickmist 1mg spray...good luck!
