Baby Marilyn is here!!!

Wednesday morning at 5am. Started having small nia to painful contractions. At 9:30 my water broke and within 5mins I was having horrible contractions that were 2 mins apart. And had me in the fetal position crying. At 10:40 I got my epidural. 12:45 I got checked I was 4cm dilated 80% effaced. 1:15 I started too feel painful contraction again even though I had an epidural. At 1:30 I started feeling the urge to push. At 1:40 my doctor checked me and I started pushing. My daughter was born at 2:00pm. I was only in labor for 9 hours total the last 20 mins of which were spent pushing. She was born Wednesday November 20, 2013. She weighed 6lbs 6oz. Measuring 17inches long. Labor was a whole lot easier than I thought it was going to be. We were released at 3:00pm on Thursday. I currently have a severe bladder infection from the cathator that was inserted during labor. And the medicine I was given for the infection is stopping me fro. Brreatfeeding which makes me so sad. I was originally breastfeeding and had to switch to formula today. It broke my heart. But as long as my baby girl is healthy I'm happy.
