With my son I was in labor for 27 hours (I was induced) but I only pushed for 8 minutes. And the placenta was out fairly quickly. By the time my son was cleaned off I had already delivered the placenta.

I was 12hrs in labor and only took 20 min to push my baby out. The placenta probably came out in about 5 min after i had my baby.

And the placenta comes out pretty soon after you have the baby. Within 10mins id say it was out.

Ive got two labor stories Ill post for you!
With my first pregnancy everything was going perfectly until 25 weeks I ended up with a kidney infection that sent me into labor. After a 4 day hospital stay I was discharged at 1 cm dilated and modified bed rest instructions. The next 10 weeks seemed fine not much different than before my hospital stay minus all the restrictions.
On the night of May 19th, 2011 my roomie and I went to sleep around 11pm, around 4am I was woken up with contractions not horrible but enough to make me jump. I tried going back to sleep until around 6 I couldn't do it anymore at 645am I lost my mucus plug and contractions were around 4/5 mins apart. I woke up my brother who was staying with me since my hubby was deployed and we made it to the hospital around 7am. They checked and I was 3cm already. They tried stopping the contractions with no luck, they admitted me around 8am, I continued to dilate pretty quickly and by 1040am I was at 7cm, I finally got the epidural I had been asking for since I got there. The epidural ended up not working so I still felt everything! The doctor came in within minutes and broke my water by 11:05am I was 10cm and started pushing! At 1135am my son Aiden Landon was born at 5lbs and 8oz. He was 5 weeks early and ended up having to go to the NICU due to not being able to maintain his body temp. That evening the NICU docs were telling me itd be at least two weeks until I could take him home, I was beyond devastated! But my little man is a fighter and on May 25th I got to bring him home :)

My due date was Sept 8, 2014 but my daughter was quite comfy so I got scheduled for induction on Sept 9. At 7:30am I was brought to the l&d room where they set up the monitors and everything. At 9:30 they started pitocin which didn't do much to help dilate me more I was already at 4cm. The contractions were more painful then i ended up being able to handle so i got the epidural. At noon the doc came in and broke my water  which made me automatically go to 5cm. About 1:30 the doc came in and I was at 10cm but my daughter was still higher up than they wanted so they had me sit up so gravity would help with her coming down. At 210 the doc came back to check and decided I was ready! After 15mins of pushing my princess Ava Lilith was born at 2:38pm weighing 7lbs 10.8oz and 20.5in long! I didn't tear at all this time but definitely sore!
