resisting telling the good news

I'm only 7 weeks in and I am having such a hard time keeping my pregnancy on the DL. me and my boyfriend are very excited im 23 and this will be our first child. I'm trying to wait until ten weeks to spread the news just to be safe. any moms out there tell everyone a little earlier?

I told as soon as I found out to close friends and family. I just couldn't keep it in! I waited to make the bigger announcement (fb, extended friends & family) until the second trimester. But if you want to I say go ahead. Regardless of how far along you are you'll always be worrying or at some risk for complications or issues until you have your bundle of joy.. So how I look at it, is enjoy each moment and experience as they come. No reason to worry or stress about what has yet to happen.

I am 33w 4d now, I told at 4w. We had a scare at 11w, and it helped having the prayers and support from my friends and family. I say tell as soon as you find out! Every life deserves to be cherished, no matter how early.

I think you should wait untik at least 12 weeks. Everyone I know had to then tell everyone they lost their baby because it was really early. Try to keep it a secret :) I'm keeping the gender a secret from our families until Christmas & I've known since Thanksgiving. It's hard but I do recommend waiting!

I told at 6 weeks, I'm now 35+5 and counting down the days but ny friend found out earlier today that she's lost her baby at only 7.5 weeks after telling everyone about 3 week's ago, so I would suggest waiting until 2nd tri to tell. It would save the heart ache of telling anyone should the worst happen, God forbid
