I just soak it in hot water before I go to bed and rub some lotion on it specially for muscle tension. Seems to be helping little by little. Not any over night miracle but helps relieve a lot of the pain.

I am having the same exact problem just without hip pain. My right foot on the side is always in pain. When I wake up it feels stiff and when I get out of bed pain shoots thru my foot and hurts all day. Doctor said it could be that I'm distributing all my weight to that foot because I'm in the final stages so baby is packing on the pounds. Doctor also said its the dominant foot because when I lose my balance I mainly use my right foot to gain stability so therefore I'm putting more strain on it.
