She checked the heartbeat for about 15 minutes. She was overall a very unpleasant person. It was in my papers that my doctor sent me to get checked and see if I was dilated. I haven't thinned or anything. Do you have to be dilated at all to get your membranes striped? I want to ask my doctor to do it when I go back next week.
You are far enough along they should have checked you and baby.
Geez..laugh in your face huh? That was immature of her. Is there a different hospital that you can go to or maybe go back to the same hospital when you know that the particular nurse won't be working (maybe go the night shift if she works the day shift). Around here, hospital nurses work 3 days per week, maybe 4 and work 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.
You have concerns and they need to be taken care of, they legally can't refuse care. Ask for her charge nurse and report her. I hope you feel better and don't take the whole thing personally. It was her, not you.
You're passing blood clots and you said your baby hasn't moved in the past few days and they sent you home? Unbelievable. Did they even check the heart rate?
Exactly! I was so upset about the whole situation. I'm going back to the doctor on Monday, hopefully she can give me some answers since the hospital was being rude and mean.
Wow! I would definitely be complaining ! I'm sorry that happened to you! Some people are so inconsiderate and it's like if you don't like being there or your job find a new one
They were being very rude! My mom was with me today, and she told the nurse how rude she was being. The nurse said it is what it is, you're free to go home. I'll definitely be complaining.
Wow! How rude. You're a concerned mother over a serious matter and they treat you that way. I would be complaining to the head of the hospital or something
