Adults go through the same situation, most mom's have to go back to work after their maternity leave is up, which is usually about 6 weeks, and they are very grateful if their moms can watch their babies. No one wants their child in day care. Why don't you want your mom to watch your baby? It shouldn't feel like she is raising him and not you, like I said whether your 16 or 25 it could be the same situation. And people would respect you a lot more for making that sacrifice to go back to school to make a better life for your baby as opposed to just not going because you don't want to accept help.
Try k12. That's what I'm doing cuss I didn't want no one else watching my baby either.
When I had my first daughter I was 15. I did homeschooling through a program and only had to go in once a month to turn in assignments and get my new ones. I graduated that year (I was a sophomore in high school). I was able to finish school and take care of my baby!!! I ended up taking night college classes and graduated college. I also got pregnant again at 18 (same dad). It takes time and dedication but if your determined to finish school, it's possible! Good luck! I know you will do great!! And congrats on your baby!
I go to school called options for youth. 2 times a week an hour each day. Look into in your area. Best choice I made. You'll enjoy it there
I'm in the exact same situation. But if you decide to do online high school, make ABSOLUTE sure it is accredited. Also you may wanna check and see what the BBB says about the school you choose. Good luck!
Don't drop out, stay in school...you'll regret it if you don't finish, you're still young......Good luck.
I do Primavera online high school and I'm 18. 31 weeks pregnant
When I found out I was pregnant with my first I was 16 and a junior in high school, I had to drop out because I didn't have anyone to watch her for me and I didn't want to put her in daycare. Now almost 2 years down the road I'm halfway thru this 2nd pregnancy and I'm just now finishing school getting my GED. It's hard but I know it'll be harder with 2 children so I'm quite proud if myself lol.
I don't blame you. I wouldn't want to be away from my baby that young either. I say home school if you can find something available in your area talk to your counseler at the school and he/she should be able to tell you about home school options.
Depends on where you live. But you should have free online school. Try googling K12 or Achieve Virtual Academy.
I had my son at 19 and was in college, I was full time and had to find people to watch my son. I went back to school 2 or 3 days after I had my son and I still feel just as much like his mother. I also went back to work 6 weeks after I had him.
When I was in that situation I took night classes in addition to school all day when I was pregnant so that I could graduate early. Best of luck to you.
What online highschools are available?
I did I applied and she lost my paper -_- nd I have a very bad temper nd im about to go off because I dnt like the way they treat me saying have my mom take care of him ummm my mom works nd I dnt live with her nd hes my son I want to spend as much time as possible with him I find it sooo hard thinking about leaving him for 8 hours than coming home nd doing homework
If you do online school then you can stay home with you LO and work out a schedule best for you.
Whatever you do, make sure after six weeks you go back to school!
Yeah, do online school!! Thats what im doing, whoops.
But I want to take care of him nd their making it hard for me to get independent studies
I'm a teen mom and im doing homeschooling. I don't have no one to watch my baby either so I attend homeschool. Trying getting into a homeschooling program
Is there home schooling where you live? Or maybe you can finish it online?
Im in the same position. But my mother will watch my baby. There may be some state help you can get with for daycare.
