Thank you all. Its hard to get the facts pass my grandma since the time she had children smoking was not a well known risk. But ill try and leave when they smoke and walk at night its hard the street is dark and cars go fast. Ill do my best and keep a positive outlook
My boyfriend smokes around me and I tryed to get him to read this leaflet bout smoking and the harm it does to baby and he still smokes around me I said you either stop or you smoke away from me it pisses me off I can't go anywhere because there's smoke everywhere I go its so annoying pur selfishness my sister doesn't smoke around me at tool
My fiancé stepfather smokes alot and just about every weekend we go over there. I already have a small toddler plus the baby that is on the way. I seat down and basically told him the results for second hand smoking and how that was much worse than actually smoking. So we came to the agreement that he would just smoke outside when we come over & he want smoke around me. So just look up the facts on second hand smoking then present your facts to your family & let them know your concerns regarding your unborn child.
this may sound a bit crazy, but I wear a headscarf and when i even smell smoke, I just put the scarf in front my nose and mouth and walk away. I dont like doing this, but my babies health is more important than shame or social issues.
or maybe you can adk them to turn on a fan that blows the smoke out of the window quicker. Otherwise you can always go outside and take a walk to get healthier and fresher air. Always better than staying in that house, since the smoke wont go away
