I prefer Dr. Browns bottles. They were the only ones my son would use so I plan on using them this time also. My son never really used a binki.
Avent pacifiers are really good
I love avent pacifiers and bottles
I bought avent because everyone recommended them
For formula its gonna be trial and error, i am a ftm myself but I'm a pediatric nurse and get lots of formula questions every day. Gerber good start gentle (the one with the orange on the label) is very well tolerated by many and its also one of the cheaper ones. Enfamil newborn and similac advance are the other two that are very popular.
Jw why aren't you planning to use just the breast this time? I can't really recommend bottles or formula since I didn't use them, but my daughter liked nuk pacifiers.
I liked the nuk bottles. But stayed away from pacifiers. My kids enjoyed the parent choice formula from walmart while they were on it. Goodluck.
Gerber good start gentle is the only one that my little girl can tolerate, poor thing everything else constipated her for weeks at a time. I'm supplementing now, boobs are drying up lol. But she prefers the mam pacifiers and were using tomee tippee bottles, not sure if I like them much though, she always ends up with formula all over her face lol
My daughter just got weaned from the breast she isalmost 14 months. I just do not want to breast feed again. I need a break. Its very time consuming because I cannot use a pump I find ir very uncomfortable.
I am going to breast feed and supplement for the first month. So he can have some benefits. Also so my uterus can contract. I already feel guilty about choosing formula but it is the best option in my life right now ):
My son liked the avent soothie pacifier - he only took it for like three months though and then never wanted it again, so that was awesome.
I nursed him for two years so I don't know a thing about formula, but we used medela bottles for pumped breastmilk and he didn't have any problems with those. Never even tried anything else.
No judgement I was just curious. I breastfed my daughter for fourteen months and then got pregnant practically right when we weaned! I understand needing a break.
Im a pediatric dental assistant, ftm. But from what ive seen with kids at work.. using regular (rounded) nipples/pacifiers is fine for the first 4 months, then switching to the orthodontic types because of the development of teeth will cause an open bite (a big space between top/bottom teeth). The ortho ones are more flatened so they dont cause the spacing. If it affects baby teeth.. it WILL affect permanent teeth before they even come in.
Tommie tippie for dummy (pacifier) and bottles and if I was to bottle feed again aptimal (don't know if you get that I'm in UK)
I like similac advance you can good it if you want full reviews
Best. Avent bottles (i hate dr browns) similac advacnce (other milks dont compare especially cause eother they have to few nutrients or too much whichcan constipate them) and i got a pacifier at the hospital and she loved that one and never got other ones,
The best bottles for us have been the playtex drop in liners, best formula was enfamil A.R, and my oldest son liked the MAM pacis and my second liked the nuk pacis it really depends on what your baby likes
