Do u have to be any certain dilation or effacement to have one done? Im 39+5. Ill be 40 weeks thursday at my next appointment.

The doc told me that she would do it only if o was 3!cm so ask at ur next appointment.
I think you have to be dialated to at least 2cm. I'm not sure, though cause I've never had one. Bump to keep you up top!

I think I read somewhere that you do have to be dilated to like a 4 or something. Sorry I'm not sure but I'm talking to my doctor about it tomorrow and I can let you know if no one else does :)
No one has ever had one? I doubt that.
