Labor story
Hey Mommies, I just wanted to tell my labor story.
When I was 40 weeks my Dr. gave me a choice to be induced or wait until he was ready. I wasn't dialated or anything so I really didn't want to wait until he was ready I was tired and ready for him to come. So my doctor of course told me all the risks of being induced and not dialated. But , u just wanted him out. so my doctor scheduled me to be induced on Jan. 29.
My Doctor gave me the cervidal to help soften my cervix. The Doctor had to wait 12 hours before he checked me. About 4 hours into it I started having bad contractions about 4 to 5 minutes apart. So they gave me this pain medicine that got me really high lol and I kept getting a dose about every hour because it kept wearing off. So finally 12 hours later my doctor took the cervidal out and checked me, I was 3 centimeters dialated, so that's when he decided to break my water , I was in so much pain after that I was having contractions every 30 seconds it was terrible the pain medicine that they were giving me didn't even work anymore. That's when I asked for the epidural . That' was a life savor . Then I went to sleep until it was ready to push. I pushed for about 1hr 30min and then me and my boyfriend met our little prince . It was the best feeling ever. All the pain was worth it . My baby boy was born Jan. 30th at 3:49pm I can't believe I'm a mother I love it so much . I can't wait to have another baby but we're gonna wait about 2 years. Welp that's my story . Congratulations to all you mommies. For any others first time moms don't be nervous be relaxed it will all be worth it for your little bundle of joy :)
