sick close to due date

Ok so i have 6 day's till my due date if I don't go into labor sooner however i am sick stuffy nose and sore throat medicine seems to be doing nothing for me will me being sick effect my delivery in any way?

I had the stomache bug at one point of time doing my pregnancy and it was horrible

Ok great thanks ladies i will definitely try the boiling water towel over my head thing i don't want to get the baby sick

It won't affect your delivery in fact I know a lot of mothers who get sick just before they go into labor! Hope you feel better soon :) try doing a steam bath. I pour boiling water in my sink and put a towel over my head and breathe in

Ugh, sorry to hear you are under the weather.  I don't think it will affect your delivery other than you will be a bit extra uncomfortable.  Do you see your doc early next week?  Talk to them about it.  But I think it will be okay.  But I sure am sorry you aren't feeling good at such an important time.  hugs
