sick during labor

I'm a ftm. I would like to know how many of you threw up while you were in labor? If so, was it due to medication or did the puke come naturally? Thanks for your info :)

I threw up during my c-section, i believe it was from nerves. I was hemmoraging and my daughter had no heart beat. Shes a happy healthy 4 year old now!

I've noticed that gas and air seems to cause nausea. I don't even know if it is offered at the hospital I will be delivering in but I want my best to do this without anything at all. I was just wondering if there was anything in particular that may cause nausea.
Thank you ladies for your input. :)

I had a water birth with gas and air. I puked multiple times (never alot) i was drinking ice tea and lucozade whilst taking gas and air which midwife said caused it.

I didn't but my friend did while she was pushing and it was natural. I would recommend to whoever is holding your leg to stay away from your face if you feel sick because she threw up in his face and his mouth was partially open lol o_O
